Meg Myles

Meg Myles

Executive Director

A 1995 graduate of Connecticut College with a BA in International Relations and a minor in Fine Art, Meg is CISF’s first Executive Director and has been in the position since 2010. She grew up sailing at the American Yacht Club in Rye, NY, and went on to sail in college. In 2004, Meg represented the United States at the Olympics in Athens, Greece in the women’s single-handed boat (Europe Dinghy). Meg is US Sailing Levels 1, 2, and 3, US Sailing REACH certified, First Aid/CPR certified, has her powerboat License and is a US Powerboating certified instructor (delivering 2-3 courses annually since 2013).

Haley Barber

Program Director

Haley grew up in Jamestown and believes it is a very special place – she is grateful to have the opportunity to share her knowledge and passion about the natural world with people. She is energetic, intuitive, and a wonderful leader. Haley received her BA in Environmental Science and Early Childhood Education from Lesley University. She started at Sea Adventure Camp in 2013 and in 2016 started full time with CISF as the Program Director.

Fiona Christie

Fiona Christie

Home School Director

Fiona is a Jamestown native. She graduated from URI in 2017 with a double major in Elementary Education and Art, and is energetic, smart, and a natural leader. Fiona began teaching at Sea Adventure Camp after graduation, and joined our year-round staff in the fall of 2019. She developed and manages the Homeschool programs, and co-teaches them with Heather. She develops and teaches a wide variety of after-school and summer programs as well, including sailing, leadership, and Naturalist training.

Heather Moore

Heather Moore

EDUCATOR, FISHERIES

Raised in a sailing family in Canada, Heather has been on the water from a young age. She began working with CISF at age 16 as a full instructor, but was one of the first CITs at Sea Adventure Camp. Now in her fourth year as a full-time staff member, Heather teaches a wide range of programs, working primarily with homeschool students across both on-the-water and shore-based education. While she supports many program areas, her particular strengths are in natural resource focused programming, including fishing, Wild Harvest, and aquaculture. Heather also co-instructs the summer Leadership Program and the Open Skiff class. She holds a degree in International Development and Environmental Sustainability from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia (2022). US Sailing Level One certified, CPR/First Aid certified and NASBLA power boating certified.

Phoebe Livingston

Development Associate

Phoebe grew up in Jamestown and gained a deep appreciation for the way of life that is fostered by growing up in such a community along the water. After moving back to Jamestown, Phoebe joined the CISF team in spring 2023 as part time Development Associate in order to help spread the word about CISF and to assist with all things development as the organization grows. Phoebe has enjoyed being a part of CISF, especially during the 25th Aniversary Year when CISF raised money for a coastal campus and broke ground in September 2025. Phoebe received her BA in Geography and MS in Professional Communications from Clark University in Worcester, MA.

Cam Chadronet

Coastal Outreach Coordinator

Cam grew up in Jamestown and developed a passionate connection to the ocean at a young age. He graduated from the University of Rhode with a Bachelors of Science in Marine Biology but still does research with the university. Cam enjoys exploring the outdoors and contributing to iNaturalist. Previously, he has worked with nonprofits and the Department of Environmental Management to provide biology-themed educational experiences. His roles at CISF include science education and program development.

Ian Bryer

Operations Manager

Ian grew up sailing in Jamestown. He started his CISF journey as a camper and in 2016 became an instructor. He graduated from URI in May, 2025 with a BA in English and is a tireless leader, bringing a calm, cool and collected energy to CISF. Ian is US Sailing Level 1 certified, first aid & CPR certified and has his NASBLA powerboat license.

Theo Simmons

Administrator, Educator

Theo was born and raised in Jamestown, and has garnered a deep appreciation for all things water-related. He grew up sailing on Narragansett Bay, and spent summers swimming at Dutch Harbor and winters in YMCA pools. He helps with programs, registrations, communication, and general administration throughout the year. Theo has been with Sea Adventure Camp in a capacity since year one in 2012. He received his BA in Political Science from Brown University in 2025. US Sailing Level 1 certified. First aid & CPR certified. NASBLA powerboat license. Previously life guard certified.
