Each year, the schedule for that summer is set by early February. Look out for updates through our “What’s Happening” page or our monthly newsletter (you can subscribe on the right of this page).

The schedule for this summer is now available on the “Camp Schedule” page under the Sea Adventure Camp header. This includes the dates for each week and the times for each age group.

Camp pricing is available under the “Camp Costs” page under the Sea Adventure Camp header. Scholarships are also available, with details found on the “Scholarship Info” page.

Yes. Although, children are only eligible to register for 2 weeks initially to accommodate more campers. When registering, you are able to select spots for multiple weeks and for multiple campers.

Nope! While every week may have the same basic organization, no two weeks are the same. Coming multiple weeks allows kids to strengthen their knowledge and skills and really build relationships with other campers and staff.

No, you cannot mix and match to only sail or only be in the marsh. Sea Adventure Camp is a blended mix of both activities. We encourage campers to explore their interests both on the water and at the marsh/other marine education activities. Nevertheless, we give kids options daily to do what interests them, so that some campers in a group may be sailing while others are exploring the marsh.

If your child is particularly interested in sailing, and sailing more independently, we offer the O’Pen Skiff Adventurers program for children ages 11 + (learn more about particular programs here).

No. We require that all children who participate in Marine Adventurers who are 5 years old must have completed Kindergarten.

Children will have a life jacket on when on, in, or near the water. We do a swim check for this group, though they are able to do this with their life jackets on. This helps us to see how comfortable a child is in the water as well as their swimming ability. As a reminder, there will also be an instructor on board every boat so this age group does not sail without a knowledgeable and capable instructor on board.

No, this group is land-based and does not sail.

Yes. You will have the opportunity to make that request during the registration process. If you miss this opportunity, please contact Theo@JamestownSailing.Org for group requests.
